Brazilian Ministries

Building a movement of Portuguese-speaking churches and services in the PCA to represent the Brazilian community in North America.
What We Do
Our mission is to reach, disciple, and empower Brazilian immigrants with the transformative message of the Gospel. We are committed to:

Church Planting
We actively serve churches and presbyteries to plant new congregations that are culturally relevant, welcoming, and Christ-centered, creating spaces where Brazilians can worship in their native language and context, while also encouraging integration into the broader Christan community.

Pastoral Support & Leadership Development
We walk alongside pastors and church leaders, offering training, mentorship, spiritual care, fellowship, and practical resources to help them lead effectively and serve with resilience in the face of the unique challenges of immigrant ministry.

Congregational Assistance
We support Brazilian churches in building strong, healthy communities through discipleship programs, counseling, youth and family ministries, and resources tailored for the needs and realities of Brazilian families in America.

Our Purpose
Through evangelism, the PCA is committed to reaching the multitudes in North America for Jesus Christ, and Brazilian people comprise a key segment of this great number. A growing population of Brazilians has been immigrating to the US in recent years. At first concentrated in the Northeastern US, this vibrant community has spread along the Atlantic Coast of the United States. Estimates indicate that South Florida houses a larger group, followed by Greater Boston and New York Metropolitan areas.
Today, there are twelve churches and missions in the PCA that hold regular Sunday services in the Portuguese language.
