Prayer Focus

“I was a stranger…” Christ said. “Did you welcome me?” Each of us is accountable to Him for how we respond to the strangers He has brought near.

ACTS 17:26,27; MATTHEW 25:31–36

Our Purpose

One out of seven persons in the US was born in another country – refugees, immigrants, international students and businesspersons. The Lord has brought people from every nation to our local communities – some already brothers and sisters in Christ, others who have never had a chance to know Him. Every believer now has the opportunity to develop authentic redemptive relationships with these from abroad who are equally precious to Him, with ripple effects back to their homelands.

MNA Refugee and Immigrant Ministries comes alongside local PCA churches and believers to encourage and resource them as they engage, befriend, serve and disciple persons from every ethnicity, in fulfillment of both the Great Commission and Great Commandment. Let us help!

How We Help

  • Provide timely and valuable resources to help you and your church, throughout North America, care for and minister to your refugee and immigrant neighbors

  • Encourage local PCA churches to mobilize the unique skills, interests, experiences and passions of their members to welcome, engage, serve, disciple and partner with refugees and immigrants

  • Help identify existing opportunities and unmet needs you can connect with in your community

  • Offer in-persontraining and online webinars to equip believers to effectively serve in this space

  • Collaborate with MNA ESL (English as a Second Language) Ministry to provide comprehensive support to churches serving the sojourner in their midst.Cross-cultural training

Senior Pastor Kevin DeYoung, along with members of Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, NC, share the inspirational story of their ministry to Afghan refugees.

While immigration is a hot topic in today’s news, God’s Word, in Deuteronomy 10:19 instructs us to love the stranger, for we were strangers in the land of Egypt. Today, more people than ever live in a country other than where they were born. MNA’s Refugee and Immigrant Ministry assists our churches in welcoming the immigrant and refugee, providing hope that only the gospel can offer.
