Ministry Opportunities
We seek to fulfill our purpose by proclaiming Christ, discipling prisoners, and equipping the church for the work of ministering to prisoners and their families through these ministries.
Correspondence
Our correspondence ministry consists of one-on-one partnerships between local church members and inmates who desire to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ. After enrolling in our curriculum, inmates are matched up with Christians on the outside who commit to walking alongside them in their discipleship journey. As inmates complete our coursework, their correspondence partners aid their growth by grading their lessons and offering encouragement. All correspondence is channeled through the Metanoia home office, ensuring that all addresses are kept confidential. How-to Videos (Mailing, Grading, Writing, etc.)

Mentoring
At Metanoia, we understand the impact of personal, one-on-one, life-on-life mentoring can have on any individuals life. Our mentoring program is one way that our incarcerated brothers and sisters in Christ may be guided and trained up in the gospel by another believer committed to knowing, loving, teaching, and serving as a Christ-like presence toward them.
Listen to Michelle’s testimony about how mentoring changed her life forever.

Reintegration
At Metanoia, we believe one of the most foundational principles of a successful relationship with returning citizens (the formerly incarcerated) is to both acknowledge and keep in view the sameness we share as we together walk in our redemption. While the circumstances of past sin and incarceration bring specific challenges to sanctification, if we believe that the blood of Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness, then this includes felonious unrighteousness.
If you are interested in learning about reintegration aids, programs, and opportunities within a specific region, please refer to the map of our Regional Directors who would be happy to assist you respective to their geographic area.
Ambassador Program
We are seeking volunteers to become "Metanoia Ambassadors" – men and women passionate about ministering God's grace and truth to those in prison. As an Ambassador, you will serve as a crucial link between Metanoia and the church, mobilizing support and resources for Christ’s work in the often forgotten and neglected mission field of prison.
